Backing away from the daily sketching of 2015, to observe more slowly and acutely.
Amadea (pivotal character in my NaNoWriMo creation) sketched this for her Sunday morning sketch because she was feeling blue.
She felt worse after she finished the sketch.

I suppose it does seem kind of depressing. But very well rendered. I think your colors give it an extra twist of that atmosphere!

Thanks! Glad to see you are still pressing forward with drawing. I think you’ve cornered the cat sketch market.

It’s sort of turned into a part time job ๐ I graduated a few days ago, so I count on being able to spend my unemployment on doing something other than cats – but we’ll see ๐

Congrats! Fantastic. So–are you an architect now?

If sleeping in and sitting around drawing kittens all day is being an architect, then yes I am!… Well I passed the thing, but I think I should go out and get a job before I start slinging titles around ๐

This is so funny, thanks for making me laugh!!! ๐ I think Amadea did quite a good job, no need to be depressed! How come that such a creative soul got into these questionable circumstances?

The night before she had a date with an entitled, grabby guy. That set her to thinking dark thoughts about the entire gender. But there shes’s about to connect with guy who is nearly as brilliant and thoughtful as her. I think her mood will soon be on the upswing. Thanks, for asking, Ann.
