Backing away from the daily sketching of 2015, to observe more slowly and acutely.
Brave man! And well done, Kirk.

Not so brave. People don’t seem to notice. But thanks.

…and eat too I hope. Of course you were the one drawing and not eating! (K.)
Thanks, Kerfe. In fact, I drew this in about 120 seconds, the time it two Mrs. Kirkistan to go the washroom and back. Maybe that’s three or four minutes.
Even more impressive!
I echo Laura’s sentiments. I rarely draw people who know I’m watching them…the pressure; I can’t take the pressure. LOL!
Thanks Teresa. But I was way across the patio.Maybe I’m invisible?
LOL! Being invisible is good if you’re trying to draw people (or eavesdrop on their conversation). ๐
Quite true.
You have the power of invisibility?! Okay…now you’re just showing off! I love your sketches of people! Nice one! ๐
It would be fun to be really good at capturing people.
I think you capture them really well! I can never seem to give them much of a personality. Of course I also tend to avoid drawing them entirely ๐
Really? I just don’t see it. My figures Sen all do weak.
The figure on the right in particular has a great expression. My tend to look like mannequins. Lol
Very nice! And I think too that youยดre brave! Did you have your drawing materials with you by accident or did you plan this?
Ann, I always carry a notebook and pen. Doesn’t everyone?
