  1. I like this! It reminds me of a haunted house! Were you at a really old place?

We went to an architectural salvage shop searching for an old banister. I took my camera and could not stop taking photos of all the crazy, improbable stuff this place had. This was one of them. Thanks for your note.

      • Oh, that sounds really cool! Did you find a bannister?

We did.it’s about twelve feet long and we’ll need to cut it to size and reconfigure it a bit.I may have to rent a truck to get it back.

      • That’s really cool! We stayed in a bed and breakfast that was a documented haunted house (New England) and it had chandeliers like that and twisty bannisters. Would be fun to draw.

I’d be nervous about staying at a place that was a documented haunted house.

      • We didn’t tell our daughter; she was about 13 at the time. But it was fun. We didn’t stay in any of the rooms that had stories around them. It was a cool, really old place. Great breakfasts! lol

It does have a haunted house feel…it needs flickering candles and shadows. Definitely belongs in a huge room of dark wood and heavy curtains.
